This dirham was struck in Uzkand in the year 401’ in Arabic). Rev. Citing the ʿAbbasid caliph al-Qadir billah (AH 381-422 / AD 991-1031) and his own brother, Ahmad, as Nasir al-Haqq Khan within a circle, ‘li-llāh / Muḥammad rasūl Allāh / al-Qādir billāh Nāṣir al-Ḥaqq Khān / al-Muʾayyid al-ʿAdl Īlik / Naṣr’ (‘For Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. al-Qadir billah.
